The Daisy room can accommodate 19 children and has a staff ratio of 1:5 for 2-3 year olds. The Daisy Room is a fun and playful room full of inquisitive minds. Children of this age group are going through so many important changes and striving to be independent. Toilet training, sleep routines, learning to feed and dress themselves and put on their own shoes are all milestones that our staff are well versed in and will support your child to meet their individual developmental targets.
Our Daisy children follow a very active timetable, continuing some of the basic routines they followed in the Buttercup Room but introducing some new routines and activities to promote their increasing independence and confidence. Freedom of choice at this stage is so important, our children have a wide variety of experiential play on offer and full access to our outdoor play area at all times.
Learning outdoors plays a key part in our daily routines and we do not let weather deter us! We have appropriate outdoor clothing available for the children and you will often find them en route to the beach or the local park or even shopping for their class projects.
